Verde Racing News | 22/11/2018

Liam Knight Joins the Verde Team

Verde Substance KTM partners with Apico Factory Racing for the 2019 season and beyond. The 2019 Verde line up sees Liam Knight join Brad Anderson and Dominic Lancett competing in the premier race series in the UK and Europe showcasing clothing and protection lines from the ever growing Leatt brand.

The team will now be supported with Apico distributed brands including Leatt clothing and rider protection, Forma boots, Boyesen hard parts, Polisport plastics and Twin Air filters amongst others. The team will be using Apico Factory Racing hard parts and become integral in the development of new products, whilst competing at the highest level of British Motocross along with the existing supported teams and riders.

Niki Hessey, Verde Substance KTM “We’ve known the team from Apico for a long time and discussed the possibility of them being involved with Verde Substance KTM for the last few seasons. I’m really happy with the deal we’ve been offered and the products we’ll get to use from Apico and their distributed brands in 2019. The guys at Apico understand what is required to race at this high level and we are confident we can together have a successful year”.

Dylan Brown: Apico Factory Racing “I’m really pleased to have finally made a deal with Niki and Adrian from Verde Substance KTM, we’ve been close on a couple of occasions in recent years, though 2019 seemed to be the perfect fit for us all. I’m looking forward to seeing Brad, Liam and Dominic representing Apico Factory Racing along with the rest of the team. I feel, alongside all our supported riders and teams, these guys are great ambassadors for the sport and will help us to promote our brands into 2019”.

The whole Verde Substance KTM Team will compete at the Maxxis British Championship, the only real change being Brad Anderson will move onto the KTM SX250 2019 full time in a bid to strengthen his chances in sealing a third European 2 stroke title in the newly formed EMX2T class. Liam Knight will also race selected MX2 GP’s and Dominic Lancett will add the challenge of competing in the EMX250 class at the GPs for the 2019 season.
