Celtic Manor, the superb golf resort near Newport and home of the 2010 Ryder Cup, has diversified into an adventure golf course over the last 12 months.
Verde have supplied the material for the putting surface – Super Verdeturf , the rough – Verdeluxe and the bunkers – Verdeturf White.
Featuring two loops of nine holes: The Kingdom Of Legends and The Celtic Challenge, both courses have lots of interaction between golf and water and plenty of theming to inspire children to have fun with their first experience of golf.
The adventure golf course is a rewarding putting experience and built to a very high standard. The golf course has had over 30,000 rounds played over the last 12 months and an enormous amount of repeat business.
Gary Jenkins oversaw the building of the course for City Golf, who have also installed adventure golf courses at Abbey Hill Golf Centre (Milton Keynes), Bristol Golf Centre and Hoebridge Golf Centre (Woking).
