A Big Thank you!

We are just over half way through the 2014 season. So we would just like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has helped the team in our first year running. The team have had a up and down year to say the least! Hawkstone international back in March started the year with a fantastic 10th place finish for Young Matty,  mixing it up with the best riders in the UK and a handful of GP stars. We arrived at the first British Championship with high spirits,  finishing 2 of the 3 races in the points and knowing Mathew was capable of achieving his top 15 aim for his first year in MX2. Unfortunately as the season progressed so did the bad luck. At the first round of the MX Nationals at Culham,  a huge crash put Mathew in hospital for a few days. After a Month out,  once we returned to racing another Injury struck. So Matty has had to sit out on yet more bike time and racing with a broken Scaphoid. Returning at the 5th round of the Maxxis at Whitby was tough day after not having much time on the bike to prepare. Matty rode well but bad starts and a crash causing damage to the bike meant on paper the weekend didn't go to plan. We are hoping to finish the season strong with Fat cats and Preston docks on the Calendar,  Matty feels at home in the sand and is confident he can gain back some points to end the year on a high.

Whats next for Verde Sports Racing ??

With 2015 fast approaching we are trying to put a plan together for the team. We will continue to move the team forward within the British paddock. Hopefully we can fit in a few European rounds, depending on how the calendar works. We will keep you up to date with any news on whats to come with Verde Sports Racing.
